The services we offer:

We currently offer the services of qualified and professionally insured Registered Psychotherapists and Art Therapists. Our therapists will visit your destination and provide therapeutic arts, using an array of art supplies to meet the needs of your clients.
Individual sessions are approximately 45-60 minutes long and groups (2-8 clients) are 60-90 minutes in duration.
Clients are provided an opportunity to express themselves in a non-invasive, non-threatening manner. They may explore the art materials as well as their feelings / emotions at the time.
Length of therapy can be short-term, (1-6 sessions) to find solutions to immediate problems or it can also be used longer term (12 or more sessions) to address ongoing issues that may need some resolution.

"The purpose of art therapy, rather than becoming a proficient artist, is to explore one’s inner thoughts and issues so as to feel like a dignified, respected and understood individual. The role of the art therapist is as a facilitator, observer and participant in the process." - S. Bookbinder
Art Therapy can improve Quality of Life by gently focusing on the emotional needs. The benefits of Art Therapy are in maximizing self-esteem, mastery, and self-confidence. It provides a trusting, empathetic and nurturing relationship with a therapeutic component, which can offer a forum for expressing strong feelings so that it does not affect other spheres of life. Art Therapy can help focus on the meaning in life and the life potential that one still possesses.
